Land-Grant University - Beers with the Brewers

In celebration of Father's Day this weekend, we invited a few of the dads of Land-Grant to sit down and sip on some of the Taproom-exclusive brews while sharing some of their favorite dad jokes. Listen along now!

On this week's episode - members of the Land-Grant peloton are joined by Pelotonia's President Joe Apgar to chat through the return of One Goal Hazy Pale Ale! This super easy-drinking beer is brewed in support of Pelotonia's mission of accelerating funding for innovative cancer research. Land-Grant will donate $1 for every six-pack sold and taproom pint poured in support of achieving that ONE GOAL. 

This week the brewers are joined with special guest Jeni Britton of Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams to celebrate: Splendid Strawberry Oat Milkshake IPA – a collaboration beer with that tees up the return of Jeni’s Strawberry Jam, our 5th annual celebration of the Ohio strawberry season, returning this weekend! After a two-year hiatus, we’re doubling the fun this year with a two-day shindig—starting at 11am this Saturday and Sunday here in our Taproom & Beer Garden.

It's American Craft Beer Week! Join Eric, Walt and Dan as they chat through From the Heart: Volume 2 – a special statewide collaboration brew that serves as a fundraising beer to benefit the Ohio Craft Brewers Association. Breweries participating in the collaboration purchased the donated ingredients from the OCBA and brewed a variation on a hazy IPA recipe developed by Chris Davison of Wolf’s Ridge Brewing and our own head brewer Dan Shaffer.
