Collaborations are always a treat, especially amongst good friends. This week Dan, Walt, Mark and Sean White of Little Fish Brewing get a chance to share our collaborative effort, Field to Fjord Nordic Pilsner. This crisp, refreshing pilsner is brewed collaboratively with Ohio grain, Ohio blue corn, Michigan Crystal Hops, and Oslo Kveik Yeast. The resulting beer is a crackery pilsner with floral and slightly spicy hop notes.

Join Dan, Adam, and Mark this week as they head to the Spice Market. This Wheat Ale gets an Indian-inspired infusion of spice via the addition of Chai Spice. Notes of Cinnamon, Clove, Ginger, Cardamom, and Nutmeg shine through and lend this easy drinking beer a uniquely warming character. We also answer a question from a listener wondering if we experience the same woes of cleaning up messes in the brewery that he experiences in his own homebrewing.

This week Dan, Chris, Mark and Walt get to crushing yet another super juicy Land-Grant IPA. To give this IPA a huge burst of Guava-tastic flavor, our brewers broke down the Guava fruit's flavor compounds to their barest elements, then assigned hops with similar flavors (Mosaic, Citra, Huell Melon, and Simcoe) to rebuild the Guava's experience via lupulin!

Justin, Walt and Mark discuss our annual Space-Grant series Black IPA, featuring Chinook, Simcoe, Azacca hops. Brewed with bold Crimson Cup Kossa Kebena and Antiqua Finca el Cadejo Coffee it is a deep-space black IPA that blasts off seeking new Tropical horizons. 2021 marks both 60 years of manned space flight, and the 40th anniversary of NASA's first space shuttle launch which took flight on April 12th, 1981. The groundbreaking shuttle program ran for 50 years until 2011, and ten years later we are poised to continue that legacy of discovery. This year, NASA continues our drive for exploration and with the planned launch of Artemis 1. The launch, scheduled for this November, will be the first step in our planned return to the moon in 2024.

Winter is here and it may seem like a long way up that mountain...but we're gonna let you in on a little shortcut: Lifty is a comfy-cozy blast of Southern Hemisphere sunshine, a rejuvenating citrus-powered ride above the weather brought to you by Waimea, Wakatu, and Rakau hops. Along the way, you'll enjoy wide vistas of orange marmalade, candied lime peel, and apricot jam.
