This week bring a BIG 2 beer episode with Mark, Walt and Dan! First, Candy Beans Hazy IPA with Vanilla, a super juicy IPA brings more flavor than a whole bowl of candy beans. Then, if that's not enough, bring on the desert with Star Baker, inspired by the classic coconut and pecan topped confection, German chocolate cake, brewed with generous additions of cacao nibs, toasted coconut, pecan, and vanilla. Dark chocolate malts render the beer a deep, dark brown while malted oats generate a silky smooth texture. This show-stopping dessert beer is a good bake, worthy of its star status!

This Sour Ale was brewed collaboratively in the Brazillian Katharina Style and features fruits popular in Rio's juice bars, or "sucos." Acerola and Feijola pack this beer with tropical fruit flavor and pink peppercorns lend the beer an earthy, fruity spice. This week we Dan, Mark, Adam and Walt test the crushability of this super juicy beer along with special guest from Forbidden Root, Brian Krajack.

Collaborations are always a treat, especially amongst good friends. This week Dan, Walt, Mark and Sean White of Little Fish Brewing get a chance to share our collaborative effort, Field to Fjord Nordic Pilsner. This crisp, refreshing pilsner is brewed collaboratively with Ohio grain, Ohio blue corn, Michigan Crystal Hops, and Oslo Kveik Yeast. The resulting beer is a crackery pilsner with floral and slightly spicy hop notes.

To give this IPA a huge burst of Guava-tastic flavor, our brewers broke down the Guava fruit's flavor compounds to their barest elements, then assigned hops with similar flavors (Mosaic, Citra, Huell Melon, and Simcoe) to rebuild the Guava's experience via lupulin!
