No new beers this week so we decided to pick the Land-Grant beer of the Summer. Tune in to find out which beer Adam, Walt, Meredith, and Jake picked to be the Land-Grant Beer of the Summer!

This week Mark, Walt, Justin and Dan enjoy our version of the Ohio Craft Brewers Association collaborative American Pale Ale, "From The Heart". We also get a taste of our June 11 Franklinton Friday release featuring artwork by Khalia Carr for a S.M.A.S.H. featuring Origin Malt and piney and citrusy Waimea hops.

On an Earth Day episode, Mark, Walt, Adam and Chris discuss trees, both in the beer garden and in our beer! Lone Cypress West Coast IPA with Spruce Tips is a classically bitter IPA that brings the West Coast vibes with Simcoe, Chinook, Centennial, and Summit hops delivering passionfruit and citrus aroma. We pushed these hops' piney disposition up over the top with the addition of spruce trips. Grab a can and your camera, hit the coast, and enjoy the view!

The Old World meets the New in this super bright Double IPA. American Strata hops unload dank strawberry and passionfruit aromatics. Meanwhile, German Hüll Melon hops deliver their namesake honeydew melon and pile on even more berry notes. 

Land-Grant Co-Owner and Founder, Adam, holds a grudge toward the hop varietal known as Ekuanot. But our brew team loves its complex tropical, orchard fruit, citrus, and berry aromatics. We've paired both traditional and Cryo-Ekuanot here with Mosaic to settle the score once and for all. Who will come out on top? Walt and Mark join Dan and Adam as they put on the gloves this week to declare a winner!
