This week the crew at BWTB are honored to get a chance to discuss our collaborative efforts with Nick Wood (Senior Advancement Officer) and Lt. General Michael Ferriter (President and CEO) of National Veterans Memorial and Museum. This beer was brewed to commemorate the First Anniversary of Columbus' own National Veterans Memorial and Museum which was founded under the four guiding pillars to Honor, Connect, Inspire, and Educate. A portion of the proceeds from Four Pillars Pale Ale will directly benefit it's mission.

This a familiar but out out-of-this-world Bohemian Pilsner blends blends Southern Hemisphere Green Bullet with Old World Ariana hops to deliver a cosmically crisp and wildly refreshing lager.

Brewer Justin joins Mark and Walt to discuss the fourth release in our quarterly Quadrahopic IPA series, featuring a new blend of four hops with each batch, Quadrahopic version 104 is a showcase of orange, lemon-lime hoppiness featuring Citra, Loral, Mandarina Bavaria, and Mosaic.

Let us introduce to you…the Lonely Hops Club: It’s an exclusive outfit with room for just one, and this time around that solo act is Simcoe. We picked the absolute best Simcoe hops available, put them up on stage, all alone, and let them have their moment in the spotlight. Big bright citrus, tropical fruit, and pine sing out loud. It’s a wall of sound, but it’s coming from that one single hop.

This week Mark, Walt and brewer Dan get a chance to sit down with Colin Vent and Collin Castore from Seventh Son to share all the deets on our 2nd iteration of our tongue in cheek collaborative effort, Sports + Jorts. This edition of Sports from Land-Grant is a light-on-its-feet Gose brewed with Tangerine and Grapefruit, while Jorts, the Seventh Son side of the collaboration, take a fruit punch twist on this slightly salty and incredibly refreshing style.

5th Anniversary Double IPA

In the Fall of 2014 we opened the doors to our Franklinton brewery and it still blows our mind that y’all showed up! Well, you continued to show up and humble us every day with your support...and here we are five years later. To celebrate, we brewed up this delicious double IPA with half a decade worth of Citra and Eureka hops. Oh, sure!

This week Mark and Walt (and a brief appearance by Adam) get an opportunity to talk about our latest release, Outpost Rustic Lager, with executive director at Metro Parks Tim Moloney and Melissa Meyer, representing Friends of Metro Parks. This beer will be the centerpiece of our draft options at the inaugural Scioto Fest and brewed with honey that was all sourced from hives in our parks! Music, camping, climbing, cold beers! What else could you need? Outpost Rustic Lager is available all weekend at the fest, and in the taproom now, proceeds benefit the Metro Parks!
